Want to change home phone contract but confused!
Hi all, We currently are on BT free evening and weekends and for some reason, we don't even use the phone that much but our bill always seems to be much higher than you'd expect. This is despite my mum deliberately holding back on its use to keep the bill down. Well now mum is annoyed and wants to be able to speak and she…

Primus Home Saver
Hi, I am thinking of signing up for this service, but noticed that it is a 12 month contract. Does anyone know what would happen if you moved house? Could you terminate the contract early or would there be any penalties payable? Any help would be much appreciated.

I am currently a BT phone and broadband customer with time still to serve on my contracts. I'm soon to move house and know that I can transfer my BT accounts to my new home. However, my new house doesn't have a BT line (heaven knows who the supplier is). BT initially told me it would cost £124.99 to install a new line.…

BT---the small-print, keep-it-dark experts
 Not alone, I'm sure, I recently had a letter from BT offering me wunderbar savings on their broadband. Below the puff on that topic came "Some changes to your BT service" telling me that from April 1st the evening call period (no mention of the alarm-bell word "phone", though I grant one cd infer that) would change…

phone line - 6 month contract?
Hi, I'm moving out of my family home into my own flat and need a telephone line. The only ones i can find are ones with 12/18 month minimum contracts. Are there any you know of with a 6 month minimum contract as my tenancy is 6 months (unless they renew it in 6 months time). Does that make sense? Thanks :)

Post Office Home Phone Overcharging
Our latest bill shows a 'billing refund' together with a note stating I have so far been unable to find any further information on this but presumably all Post Office Home Phone customers are affected. We often think our bill is larger than it should be ... turns out we were right! Of course there really is no way to check…

Following serious illness and hospitalisation I was unable to pay a £28 bill on time.[FONT="] As a result I was disconnected and the charges piled up into hundreds. I took the matter to OTELO. BT Overcharge GRRRRR
I know this has been talked about on here in previous months, but I just received a monthly bill from BT which is almost double my normal payment - this is due to their balancing/top-up/updating/rip-off charge that they've levied in order to synchronise the billing and usage dates... I have been charged an extra 23 days,…

BT or Primus for line rental?
To explain my current situation:- I’m paying line rental to BT at £11.54 per month and also have Sky Talk Unlimited. I wish to retain Sky Talk, as I make a lot of local calls and as I also have Sky broadband (having Sky Talk means a reduction in the price of Sky broadband). I’m looking for a way to reduce the cost of line…
