Hi- been to the emergency vets today with a stray cat which turned up with a raw wound on its neck where it used to have a collar. Cat nibbled stew
I cooked stew this evening, enough for tomorrow as well. It was too warm to put the left overs in the fridge and the cats were out!! It has now been nibbled by one of the cats. Question - should I just heat it through well tomorrow or dispose of it? After 19 years of being owned by cats you think I would have learnt :o .

New bed for new puppy..
only, don't tell the cats it's not for them. I do want it to smell of the cats and us and the other dogs so that new pup becomes familiar with the scents of us and eventually associates them with comfort and restfulness, not 'eat those cats' but I did not expect the bed to be so popular. One of the cats slept in it all…

Do dogs smell of death?
Our dog is 15yrs old next month and was diagnosed with cancer in the summer. Due to her age we made the decision not to have her operated on, as advice seemed to suggest it may do more harm than good. She's bobbed along since then, she's definitely slowing down but hasn't seemed too bad. However, when I came downstairs…

how to stop 8 month pup "annoying" older dog
Hi everyone. We have an 8 month old crossbreed pup - Blaze, full of life, and apparently full of testosterone too - he is constantly trying to hump our 7 year old spaniel !!!!! - Posy (yes, she is spayed). Up until the last few weeks they have got on famously, but now he won't leave her alone. She occasionally snaps at…
