Cat nibbled stew

I cooked stew this evening, enough for tomorrow as well. It was too warm to put the left overs in the fridge and the cats were out!! It has now been nibbled by one of the cats. Question - should I just heat it through well tomorrow or dispose of it? After 19 years of being owned by cats you think I would have learnt :o.

I'd not fancy it - he might've just licked his 4rse.

    I'd eat it.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Mine has just come back in carrying a dead mouse... and yes, she then licked her bum... why am I telling you this?

Well, their tongues go places I never want to go so... I wouldn't want to share my dinner with that tongue!

If you can see tongue marks where he's nibbled, cut/spoon that bit out. Otherwise I'd just eat it. Your intestines probably carry as much bacteria as his mouth.

I'd still eat it. Does your cat walk on your worktops? I bet you never manage to wipe away all the germs from his feet from digging/burying his litter, so it could do no harm really.

Oh just get on with it. After 19 years of living with cats, I think you must've shared enough germs one way or another to waste a good stew. The cat obviously thought it was good so TUCK IN!
