Cats and leads
I have a cat that I think is an Egyptian Mau. She is an indoor cat, as I live in a flat without access to a garden, however I have read that Maus are one of the few breeds that take to being walked on a lead. Has anyone any experience of doing this, and would it benefit her in any way? I live in a city, and there are a lot…

I miss her terribly, but know that it was the right thing to do for her. I have another cat who is 8- he has lived with her since he was 8 weeks old. He is…

Hi - just been to vet again with our 4 yr old retriever. She's on her 2nd lot of steroids and antibiotics for what the vet thinks is a grass allergy. She had an itchy tummy 2 summers ago but was ok last yr. The previous vet ( 6 weeks ago) thought it might be a skin infection caused by anal glands but this one thinks 'just'…

Mating a Male Dog pro's and cons?
I have been asked if I will allow my Springer dog (registered) to be mated with a local !!!!!, he is 18 months old. It would be his first time and I am slightly concerned about the potential pros and cons for long term behaviour etc. PS I also beat with him during the shooting season. Any views? Or are there better places…

Jack Russell
I'm a cat lover - I freely admit that. I'm also allergic to most if not all sweet and fluffy things including dogs. However I do like them (I'm not a fan of being licked though). My fiance is a bit of a dog lover - I've converted her to cats but even so I'd enjoy taking a pet out for walks etc and you do get ever so many…

Hi, After buying my female cat (Tally) some Whiskas 'Oh So Meaty' and 'Oh So Fishy' pouches when they were on a Bogof at Tesco a while ago, she will not now eat anything else. Getting to the end of my tether.
I was hoping someone might have some suggestions as to what I can do with one of my cats - it's a bit long! I inherited him (and another one to add to the 2 we already had) from my Dad when he died in December. When we first got him we had alot of trouble with him using the carpet and walls as a litter tray. I changed…

Lungworm is in my area eek!
My vet has sent all it's customers letters to warn that Lungworm (dogs) is in our area and that the only treatment for it is Advocate flea spot on treatment and Panacur worm treatment. It can be deadly. It's mainly from dogs eating Slugs and Snails but can be caught by the dog eating grass

Cat sick
When I got home from work this morning I found the cat had been sick on the carpet. She had been eating a wet fish cat food and there is still a bit of the smell about. I cleaned the area with some multisurface cleaner but obviously need to do something else to get rid of the smell so what do you guys suggest?
