G24 Contractual Parking Charge Notice
Hi all, today I received a PCN from G24 with photographic 'evidence' that I entered the car park at 9.52am and didn't leave until 14.21pm on Sunday 2 April. The facts are I did enter at that time, but to pick up a lad for a rugby match. I was in the car park less than 5 minutes. We then left to travel the 40 minutes to the…

Board Resolution
Am I right in saying unless the articles of association state a particular director can enter into a contract with Parking Eye they need a board resolution to form a contract. If no board resolution produced at court would that make the contract invalid?

Notice to Owner issued with a PCN NOT being received
Hi, I received a notice to owner around 2 months after the alleged contravention. The NTO lists the contravention as "Parked in a permit bay without clearly displaying a valid permit". No contravention code is supplied in the document. I didn't receive a PCN. 6 pictures were supplied as "evidence" and none show a PCN…

Time stamped POPLA photographic evidence.
Hey folks, I parked in a car park in North Devon back in Feb - I was under the illusion that it was a council operated car park as only one of the 6 lights were in operation and there were no signs at the entrance to the car park to suggest that it was private land or in operation. First appeal to the company (Premier Park…

BPA Membership on signage
I've just discovered that the private parking company I am currently battling a PCN with has claimed on their signage to be a BPA member, with the logo but on checking the website of the BPA this morning, UK CPM is definitely NOT on the list. How much of a big deal can I make of this? I've seen its fairly common for PPCs

Mitigating Circumstances?
Hi all, A couple of days ago, a car of which I am registered keeper was parked at an NCP controlled TfL station car park. The driver thought he had paid for the parking via the Dash parking app as usual but realised yesterday (due to the absence of an emailed receipt) that the payment did not go through. The driver has…

PCM UK (Great West Quarter, Brentford)
Good afternoon all Well I've just received a LBC from Gladstone's so wanted to confirm that I have a winnable case before proceeding further (otherwise I'll just very reluctantly pay up)! I received the original PCN from PCM UK back in November 2016 for parking within a "restricted area" in Great West Quarter, Brentford.…

PCN debt recovery plus ltd
Last summer we had booked a park and ride to the airport. On the way we turned to what we thought was the park and ride company. After having gone up to the barrier and pressed the button we were informed that it was not them. We then reversed, (as you could not turn at that point) and asked a stranger for directions, we…

Smart Parking bullies
Any advice on what I should do please? I've been in dispute with these bullies.. 1. I never received the PCN 2. The first I knew about it was a letter from Debt Recovery Plus (DRP) saying I've not paid the PCN...even though I didn't know anything about it! 3. I called DRP to advise I'd never received a PCN, they said it's…

Validity of Proceedings Brought in Wrong Name
Can anyone advise whether proceedings must be brought in the full and correct name of the defendant or whether a plaintiff would lose their claim if they proceed in the name of a non existent entity or person? This is not a mere spelling mistake issue and I can't seem to find anyone else who has experienced this situation

Mellicks Solicitors Letter - Smart Parking (Scotland)
Hi, I'm new to the forum, and am very impressed with the amount of detail that goes into the threads. I've read the newbie stuff and stickys but wished to give my own situation in the hope of some advice. Last September, my wife and I parked up in a car park in Inverness and sat there for around 25 minutes and didn't buy a…

Ace Security
Hi all. I am a resident in a block and been renting and regularly paying for a parking bay for over 5 years. The management company of the flats (who takes my flat's rent + parking bay rent) never sent any permit for years and I would park. Sometimes when I am gone on my car, my wife used to park her car. (We live together…
