Thomas Cook - Credit Card or ATOL claim best?
Hi Looking for some advice. My partner and I had booked to go to Iceland with Thomas Cook in November. Flights and hotel booked with them so we have ATOL certificate and are protected. The flights booked were with EasyJet and we have received our confirmation from easyJet separately. This was all paid for by credit card.…

Will 350 euros be enough for 9 day Lake Como holiday?
The holiday is a coach holiday. The accommodation is all-inclusive, food and drinks. The 350 euros will be for trips and drinks/lunch in cafes for one person.... Have you been to Italy? Do you think that'll be enough spending money? I will have my debit card for emergencies but would like to stick to a budget. Thank you.

Apologies if this has already been asked in another thread but I can’t find anything. I booked and paid for Thomas Cook flights to USA through Condor. Feb Half-term sun
Been saying we're going to do this for years, and finally we are. We're looking at the Canaries for a week in Feb half-term. At the moment, there are some cheap deals of around £1400 for a week SC, in a one bedroom apartment, for two kids and two adults. There's also AI options at around a grand more. I'm keen to hear from…

Starling debit card-overseas ATM charges
I have a starling debit card for travel. I notice that there seems to be a growing number of banks that are charging ATM fees for cash withdrawals with this card. Recently i noted BBV and Santander in Spain seeking to make ATM usage charges. Maybe there is a list somewhere or this could be a thread starter for an updated…

Ex Thomas Cook hotels - how will they survive?
Appears as if the standard was for Thos Cook to pay their customers hotel bills ,several months after the holiday has been taken (presumably all the big TOs do this) - ATOL protection will only pay the bills of those who are currently in resort - so ,presumably, the hotels will have to join the line of Thos Cook…

Booking.com reneging on compensation promise
We were scammed on a villa and booking.com offered compensation of €3,091 for deposit, additional villa cost and transport costs. I accepted their offer on 10 sept and they have now come back refusing to pay it all and want to pay €700 less. I think I’ve created a contract (offer and acceptance) in writing. Can they just…

Thomas Cook Atol Protected question
First of all, I'm devastated for all the staff who worked for this once great company and to all those who will be at a loss because of their demise. My question is insignificant in the grand scheme, but significant for me. I paid for a Thomas Cook Atol protected holiday using e-vouchers which were purchased through a work…

Non Smoking apartment booked but Smoking apartment provided
In early March we booked a 4 star rated apartment for 7 days in Amsterdam in September via a UK company. We specified that we wanted a non smoking apartment. That is very important to us. We paid a deposit of 434 euros on a UK credit card to the Amsterdam Apartments company with the balance of 1014 euros due on arrival, a…

Thomas Cook Flights changed
Hi all, I am not sure where to post, so I thought I may get some help here. We booked our package for next year with Love Holidays, and the flights we chose specifically as we didn't wish to fly with easy jet or have the late night arrival, so paid the extra to have the TC flights. We have received an email to say they…

Flight prices
Obviously with the Thomas Cook situation, airlines are rubbing their hands together and hiking the prices (3 increases for my particular flight in the last 24 hours.) I was looking at going to Peutro Rico (Gran Canaria) Saturday 14th for 4 nights. This flight was originally £56 but has fluctuated. It was around £60 on…

Hello, Just looking for some advice please, we took a holiday in August which was a package including ferry travel and furnished tent. I sent the following complaint: 1.
