Budget for 1 adult, 1 child
Hello, I have started budgeting from the beginning of this year, my groceries for myself and 5yr old has averaged £210/ month. This includes all supermarket shopping (Lidl/Aldi) cleaning products, washing powder, loo roll and a few very basic toiletries. I’m good at cooking from scratch, we have no fizzy drinks, juice etc…

Any tips for a single man to eat healthier?
As a single man living alone I find it tough to eat healthy. I also spend more than I probably should on take outs. Either that or I nuke a lot of stuff. Is my carpet salvagable?
Ok what happened was I knocked the radiator and it drip leaked all night, not enough to flood the living room but about a foot from radatior from left to right, I used my carpet shamoo machine (Vax one) to soak up the water but not until like 12 hours after the leak started) Now its dried out it looked brownish. Oil splashes in clothes
Apologies for asking - I was sure I would find the answer in the search but couldn't see anything :o Anyway, what is the best way to get cooking oil splashes out of clothes? DDs work aprons are washed after every shift but as soon as I iron them you can see the oil stains are still there.

Minimum Spend on grocery deliveries?.
Are all deliveries on groceries minimum spend of £40? I used to shop at Asda..but I found they were still taking money out the week after because something had increased since the order.Should they do this?,or should you get it at the price you booked your food delivery?.
