Can you freeze cooked sliced ham?
Hi all, I buy cooked sliced ham for sandwiches during the working week, and buy the big packs from Aldi for £1.79 (about 12 slices), however I always end up throwing a few slices away at the end of the week which seems so wasteful :-/ its always well before the use-by date but it says on the packet to discard 2/3 days…

Cut and Store Fruit
I've realised that a lot more fruit and veg gets eaten in my house if I prepare it and put it in small tupperware boxes in the fridge, but I'm worried about cut fruit drying out or going brown. Do you know if there's any fruit I can cut and store without that happening? Or how to stop it happening?

No cooker
Just lost another cooker and I can't afford a new one right now, so I'm looking for CHEAP meal ideas please. I have a slow cooker, deep fat fryer, microwave and toaster. I already have a few ideas but given that this is likely to be mid-long term, I'd like some variety. Thank you x

Chickpea virgin
Whilst out shopping at my local Asian supermarket I spotted some dried chickpeas at a good price, so me being one who loves to try new foods I bunged some in the shopping basket. The problem is I'm unsure as what to do with them, I know you soak them over night, but I was wondering is it possible to bung them in the slow…

Help! Homemade yoghurt
Hi all, I decided yesterday to make my first batch of homemade yoghurt. I used full fat milk, an an active live culture from probiotic yoghurt.
