New improved Stardrops all-purpose cleaner mix
Someone I know has had major surgery and has to really keep domestic surfaces, especially in the toilet and bathroom, scrupulously clean. She wasn't convinced of the anti-bacterial properties of the white vinegar in the current MSE OS all-purpose cleaner mix of Stardrops, white vinegar and water. So, I've mixed up a batch…

Can anyone tell me which wine is best to cook with that is in the M&S dine in for 2 meal deal? Therefore what wine would you recommend from the M&S dine in for two meal deal?

Sausage Making Advice - Please Wade In!
Evening all! My OH is dead keen on all things porky, and is very set on the idea of sausage making. We all (me, OH, 2 small kids) eat them, and actually I would like to have a go too. It's the OH birthday coming up in three weeks, and to make up for last year's Birthday of Doom (I won't go into it now!) I thought a sausage…

Creased Leather Coat
Hiya Whilst visiting my SIL over new year she gave me her old clothes to go through to have whatever I wanted. Apart from a few tops and jeans, I also got a lovely leather coat. Dandelion & Burdock Substitute
I read a post recently about someone adding almond extract to cola to get a cheap substitute for Dr Pepper. But I was wondering if such a thing would work for creating something that resembles Dandelion & Burdock (the typical supermarket variety) - even if it is only a small resemblence? It's my favourite soft drink, but…

Single person - can I eat for £60 a month?
Yes I know, variations on this have been done to death. My story; it's looking likely I will be made redundant, I've been going through the figures, reducing bills, cutting back on this and that etc. and £60 a month is the maximun I can afford. I've come up with this meal plan, the same thing everyday, I don't know a great…

Hummus
I soaked some chick peas for 8 hours, that finished 6pm last night. I didn't have time to cook and make hommus out of them. I did put them in the fridge. Do I presume right that I can go ahead and still use them now?
