Hey everyone, I couldn't see a thread started, so please merge if there is one.
My sleep addled brain has just finalised the menu for next week, so thought I would get it posted before I change my mind (AGAIN
)
Sun 15 Slow roast shoulder of lamb, with celeriac, swede and carrot, roast spuds and cabbage
Mon 16 lamb & barley stew, cabbage
Tue 17 lamb biryani/curry (Prob just me for dinner-OH out, so possibly just lamb in black bean sauce with rice)
Wed 18 turkey & spinach lasagne, salad
Thu 19 dorotas granados
Fri 20 salmon with a mustard and herb crust, oven chips &veg
Sat 21 away
Sun 22 away-takeaway(?) or lamb curry from the freezer
Only 1 fish dish this week-thats the problem when stretching the sunday joint!

Sunday -- Roast Beef dinner
Monday -- Beef with shallots & red wine with mash & veg
Tuesday -- Spicy beef & onion wraps
Wednesday -- Salmon, new potatoes & peas
Thursday -- Cottage pie
Friday -- Spag bol
Saturday -- Lamb curry
Breakfasts -- Cereal, toast or crumpets
Lunches -- Soups, wraps or sandwiches
Snacks -- Fruit & HM cakes & buscuits.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
I have put my menu on a wipe-board in the kitchen for everyone to see, hopefully this will stop DH snacking on bits reserved for other meals!
Breakfasts: Porridge, cereal and/or toast.
Lunches: DD's school dinners.
DH & I will have wraps, sandwiches, H/M soup or salads to take into work.
Dinners: SAT: Chicken fajitas
SUN: Visiting my parents, so probably a roast.
MON: Chicken casserole in slow cooker with mash.
TUE: Chilli (from freezer) & Rice
WEDS: Leftover chicken casserole with roasties.
THURS: Pasta bake (batch made tomato sauce in freezer, will add whatever other bits we fancy, probably bacon)
FRI: Omlettes, beans & H/M bread0 -

Friday - lazy evening - M&S meal deal
Saturday - egg and bean curry with pitta bread
Sunday - mushroom, lentil and stilton wellington with steamed cabbage
Monday - chicken fajitas
Tuesday - pork noodles (LO from a takeaway months ago and have been in the freezer ever since) with extra stirfried veg
Wednesday - sausage and squash stew
Thursday - glazed pork and veg with rice

Feel its time to restart meal planning so we will be having...
Sunday: Gammon, parsley sauce, new potatoes, peas and corn.
Monday: African chicken with couscous and salad.
Tuesday: Pork loin, apple sauce, mash, brocolli and carrots.
Wednesday: Macaroni cheese/peas.
Thursday: North african squash and chickpeas.
Friday: spinach and thyme pasties.
Saturday: Sausages and whatever hubby feels like doing!

This week we are having/ had:
Thurs: Fish Finger Sandwiches
Fri: Don't know - as DH has a tummy bug, so maybe something on toast for me.
Sat: Salmon with Cream & Dill Sauce, Pasta & Broccoli - if DH feeling better
Sun: May or may not be going to Wales to visit friends
Mon: Pork Meatballs with Spicy Chipolte Sauce
Tues: Cajun Turkey Steaks, Jacket Potato & Salad
Wed: Lamb Chop Dinner
May have to swap some meals round or tone down if DH is still feeling iffy.
If all else fails, I'll make some soup.

Sunday : Roast chicken, stuffing, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, brocolli, cauliflower, peas, carrots, cabbage and gravy
Monday : Fish pie, peas & carrots
Tuesday : Toad in the hole, mash, brocolli, cauliflower & gravy
Wednesday : Spaghetti bolognaise & garlic bread
Thursday : Lasagne, potato wedges & salad
Friday ; Pizza & salad0 -

Today - Turkey and Leek Pie, mash and veg
Sunday - Honey and Mustard Pork chops, roast potatoes and veg
Monday - Gammon, Egg, Chips and beans
Tuesday - Salmon, Jacket potato and veg
Weds - Chilli Con Carne
Thurs - Bernard Matthews Turkey Roast (free :T) roasties and veg
Fri - Beef Stew & dumplings
Sat - Cottage pie ready meal (whoopsie from Waitrose) and veggies
Sun - Roast turkey, roast potatoes and veg

Back on the meal planning and have joined the grocery challenge as well as the don't throw food away challenge.

Tue - HM soup from the freezer, HM bread and rice pudding
Wed - diced turkey stir fried with veg wrapped in tortillas covered in cheese sauce and baked in the oven
Thur - Winter veg pie
Fri - Fish and chips
Breakfasts are cereal or porridge
Lunches are soup or sandwiches
Snacks are fruit or crispsI am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order.
