VERY oily meatballs :(
DD attempted to make German meatballs this evening (following instructons on her DS :rolleyes:). They turned out so oily, they really are inedible. Can anyone suggest a way we might salvage these to eat tomorrow? If not, the dogs will be well fed :p TIA x

Home made Marizipan problem
Just made the Easter cake :beer: First time with home-made marzipan.... its too sticky :mad: Even with flour everywhere , can't roll the stuff out . Its in the oven now, problem will be hidden in cake. BUT 2/3 is left for the top. Is it too late to add more ground almonds to the mixture or have I missed something :confused:

cracked eggs
I opened the box of eggs and two of them are cracked. They are free range and the use by is 23rd April. I bought them on Monday and they were not cracked then, I know because I always check. I'm worried that bacteria has gotten into the eggs. Are they safe to eat or do I need to throw them out?
