How about some soup? It's full of vitamins & nutrients and very easy to make. To do a mixed veg soup I put in a pan a chopped onion, 4 or 5 carrots, half a bag of frozen mixed veg, a tin of tomatoes, a handful of orange lentils and pour boiling water mixed with a stock cube over it to cover by about an inch. Add salt & pepper then bring to the boil, cover with a lid and simmer until veg are cooked. I usually blend it when its cooled down a little but that's to hide the veg from the children ;) If you haven't got all the above stuff it works without one or two of them eg if no lentils & mixed veg then add some more veg that you have in the fridge or more carrots, no tomatoes & some corriander (about a tablespoon) for carrot & corriander soup. Serve it with some fresh bread.

Hope your Mum recovers & I'm sure she'll be glad you made something for her :T

Some salads and dips in small bowls (with pitta & chopped veggies to dip), maybe a really nice fresh fruit salad. Sometimes just dont feel like eating or want to eat - and its easier to eat with others if you dont have a heaped plate to start off with? I've found when you dont feel too hot - its best to work on eye appeal?? Best wishes
