classy quality leather belt

hi , just thought i'd let you know this money saver. I have horses and always keep bits of old leather for an unforeseen emergency. well just found my thrift ways paid off. Sometime ago my stirrup leathers were looking a bit stretched. For all my thrify ways it just is not safe to ride in stirrups that might, at the next rise ( as in rise and fall trot) simply snap. So i put them to one side thinking why because they are just not safe. today however i decided that the rubbish quality plastic that is currently imitating a belt on my trousers needed replacing and voila ping. i just cut it to length and a good quality belt was made. now i know you may not all ride:D but places like your local countrywide ( one with an equine dept) will not only be able to sell new ( very good quality) but often there are 2nd hand ones or just plain old notice boards. happy hunting :beer: not really I,m anti hunting but a good pun.
