Freezing stuffed turkey breast
Bit of a wally this morning. Bought a fresh stuffed turkey breast this morning then noticed this afternoon that the best before date is 22 Dec. I've stuck it in the freezer which defeats the object of buying fresh but at least I've noticed and there'll be no food poisoning on Boxing Day. My question is, should I cook from…

I am making pork in wine sauce today from my recipe book. When I was out shopping for the ingrediants I seen some finger chillies in the reduced section, I quite like spicy food so I bought them. The most important thing you should know about Turkeys
Was going to mention this on the Nigella thread, then nearly put it into the Christmas cooking thread, but it's so important for people who don't know it that it's worthy of its own brief existence (before being merged with something else). I realise I'll be teaching a lot of people to suck eggs, but there will be others…

does anyone remember the haybox?
I was looking at an advert for insulating jackets for hot water cylinders the other day and wondered whether an offcast one of these would be sufficient to make a substitute haybox if wrapped round my Le Creuset caserole. Has anyvody tried this and do you think would it retain sufficient heat to cook a meat caserole?

I think that milk might be making my eczema worse, but I like a big bowl of porridge in the morning. Can anybody recommend a brand of rice or soya milk that tastes as good as normal milk but doesn't cost the moon on a stick? Does the taste or texture change with heat? I have done some searches but can't find anything about…
