How to clean velvet curtains or clothes
I've got these really long and very heavy velvet curtains hanging up and they need cleaning. They attract a lot of cobwebs and I've tried to use the nozzle on the hoover but the cobwebs just stick to the curtains. I'd rather clean them in place rather than take them down as they are so heavy. Would a damp cloth do the job?…

why does a stir fry veg mix have a use by and not a best before?
few nights ago i went to cook a stir fry with a bag of mix ie. beansprouts, cabbage etc and noticed that it had a use by date of 2 days before. i guessed being veggies as long as they didn't look rotting they'd be fine so we ate them. now i'm wondering why they would put that on the bag any ideas?
