is defrosted mince ok to use if its in the fridge a few days?

i took the mince out saturday and defrosted - its been in the fridge since then.

i want to use it monday as we have been invited out to eat today.

will it still be safe?

I would think it will be fine - make sure it smells all right first, though. Really it's no different from buying mince, storing it in the firdge for a couple of days, then eating it:)

Yes I think it will be fine, the other alternative is to cook tomorrows dinner today and keep it in the fridge, easy cooking day for tomorrow then :T
