help pressure barrel

:confused::confused::confused: can any one help
I have been given a 2.25gallon pressure barrel (BREWERS MATE) FOR HOMEBREW?
it has a warning on not to use before you read the instructions. the trouble is I dont have any does anyone have any idea what I can do with this and what can I make in it. Please help I dont want to use it wrong and it explode or something horrible :confused::confused::confused:

    You need to check that the barrel has no obvious flaws. Checks the seal in the cap - make sure it's sound. Check that the pressure relief valve on the top works. That's the main safetly feature - if the pressure builds up too much that will pass and release the pressure. You can also "twang" it to check that there's pressure in there.

    I've only ever used mine to make beer from kits, but you can make it from scratch.

    We have older threads on beer making. I'll add this to it later.

    nothing seems to be broken so i might just pop and get a homebrew beer kit to try the barrel out thanks so much
