When I had my shopping delivered this week I discovered a 1kg tub of natural low fat yoghurt. As I am currently cooking everything from scratch (with the aid of a Jeannette Orrey cookbook) i wondered if any of you very knowing o/s savers had any recipes that i could use it in, sweet or savoury. HM Wreath - rules for collecting greenery?
I usually buy a wreath as we haven't got any holly etc in our garden. Yesterday I noticed there was an embankment next to a footpath choc full of ivy with berries - just waiting to be made into a wreath. :) A magazine I'm reading says to collect greenery to make own decorations, but what is the law on this? I know it's…

What was in a stocking 70-80 years ago?
My gran is nearly 82 and was reminiscing about what was in her stocking when she was a little girl. She remembered a tangerine a new thruppenny or sixpenny . Sauce for Upside Down Pud
I am baking a Pineapple Upside Down pud tonight for tea. My mum used to make a sauce, presumably out of the juice, which we then poured over the top of the pud. Anyone any ideas how to make this sauce? It's consistency was like double cream. Do you think she just added some cornflour to the pineapple juice to thicken it…

Adjust Double Breasted Suit
Ok! I have a suit that used to belong to my Dad and I want to wear it to his sixteth birthday. It has a sentimental meaning so it would be cool to wear it. It is a double breasted suit but is just a bit too wide around the torso. What really needs to happen is for the buttons to just move across just a couple of inches to…
