in Old style MoneySaving
I was recommended to use this website by a friend ages ago but I have only gotten around to looking at it now. It's amazing. I have been wasting money for so long. This board seems to be the place to introduce yourself so here goes.I am 30 and live with my partner, we have no kids yet and we both work full time. Now that I have found money saving expert maybe we will be able to afford to have a baby sooner than we thought.

    By the way, I forgot to say that there are a couple of lengthy threads to read through with regard to affording to have a baby. One is here on the Old Style board (I'm sure it's bookmarked in our indexed collections - click on the link in the navy blue bar at the top of the page to have a browse) and the other, more recently, is on the Marriage, Relationships and Families board here.

    Thanks for saying hello. We have a thread right at the top of the forum called "Getting to know you" so perhaps you might like to add yourself to that one and, of course, you can have a good read and see just who we all are too :)

    You're not doing anything wrong, and remember this is probably the friendliest board on MSE!

    Actually I take back what I said about looking in "indexed collections" - I can't find that thread anywhere! I know ancasta started it. Can somebody provide a link for our newbie (I know she should be able to use the search facility but it tends to be quite hit and miss!)

    Let's start with - no you're not doing anything wrong at all :)

    It takes time to learn where everything is and nobody is expected to get the hang of it all at once :)
