Freezing Question
Probably obvious but thought I'd check! I make burgers with turkey mince, garted carrots, courgettes, onion, breadcrumbs and a bit of milk. As there's only 2 of us we always have quite a bit left, so was just wondering if they would freeze ok. i know the mince would be fine, but was thinking of making them up, then…

Freezing yoghurt and fromage frais?
OK, silly question time. I know that it's possible to freeze milk, but is it possible to freeze and then defrost yoghurt? Sainsbury's have a special offer on Muller Light yoghurts at the moment: buy a pack of six and get a second pack free. I'm tempted to buy some & freeze them as they're my favourites but a bit expensive…

Advice on Handwashing Wedding DressPlease
I recently got married and now I need to clean my wedding dress. I was going to have it dry cleaned, but was amazed by the prices of £100-£!75 to have it cleaned! Have since checked label and much to my relief it states it should be handwashed at 40c. Being brought up in the age of washing machines means that I am not au…

You can use the poured off stuff to water your house plants when it has gone cold. Use the T bags in your compost.

Dripping
I know you're all going to go YUCK when you read this, but try before you knock it! Whenever we have a chicken or turkey, we drain the juices into a bowl. When it sets, there's a layer of jelly and a layer of dripping. This is great on toast. Put a scraping of dripping first then some jelly and a bit of salt if you want.…
