Freezing Question

Probably obvious but thought I'd check! I make burgers with turkey mince, garted carrots, courgettes, onion, breadcrumbs and a bit of milk. As there's only 2 of us we always have quite a bit left, so was just wondering if they would freeze ok. i know the mince would be fine, but was thinking of making them up, then freezing them for a night when we don't have time to cook.
Also, if I could freeze them, would they need to be defrosted before cooking, I usually use the george foreman to cook them, if that makes a difference.

They should be fine if you are using fresh meat .
I sometimes make up double the amount we use and freeze some.I usually defrost them in the micro before cooking them.
Remember you cant freeze raw food if it has been frozen before unless you cook it first and you cant refreeze previously frozen cooked food again0 -

Good reminder - I couldn't remember if you could refreeze meat that had been frozen when raw, after you had cooked it (if you can make sense of that!)
Thanksr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
