Double MPG
Sorry if this is a daft question, but I'm looking to replace our 2007 Merc B Class for 2016 Nissan Qashqai. The Qashqai apparently has an MPG of around 70 MPG while the B Class is around 35. Would this literally mean our fuel costs would half, everything else being equal? The B Class is petrol, the Qashqai diesel. Thanks

Mondeo Mk4 Bluetooth Phone Connection
I have a quandary... If someone calls me while in the car, I can answer the phone and talk to them happily. However, if I want to call someone, I press the stalk and state 'Call "name"' and it does not recognise it - it just asks me 'what category' over the speakers, If I say 'dial' it does the same. But - if I press the…

Hi I have Met police letter that they capture my speed over 30 miles above a limit. Now they trying to push me to book a course to learn the danger of speeding or I'll be charged 1000£ or more. I know my style of driving and I don't believe I could drive in London such a speedy, is clearly some error. How to challenge this?

Should the garage pay?
So my girlfriends car broke down last night with no warning and had to be recovered. It has been looked at today and found the timing belt has came loose. Now just wondering where she stands as she has receipts for the timing belt being changed in April and if done correctly it definitely shouldn't come loose so soon. So…

Car dealership repair or rejection rights within 3 months
Hi, I bought a used car just under 10 weeks' ago (12/5) from an independent car dealership as a cheap run around after my car was stolen. It's a 14 year old car with pretty high miles, but it was from a dealer and came with 6 months warranty so I thought it could be a cheap, safe option to get me from A to B without the…

Car Safety Ratings
Hi, do you consider safety ratings when buying a car I was looking at small family car A3, but according to Euroncap it only has 89% Adult occupant protection and 81% for child, which is really low for the money I would have to pay for the car. For example Skoda Scala which is also a small family car would be much cheaper…
