House mate speeding notice
My housemate has received a letter about doing 80mph in a 70mph zone, except that the last name on the letter is his middle name. My housemate does not have a car, the car is a BMW420 and my house mate is on minimum wage. Should I just put the letter in a post box, not known at this address?

Tell me about electric cars
I'm looking at purchasing an electric car mainly from an environmental point of view. It was an option my husband threw into the mix this morning after three unsuccessful weeks of hunting for a second hand petrol car when both of our cars died within a month of each other. After having resigned ourselves to sharing a car…

Sorry bit long. Wondering if some of you good people can give me some advice here please? So I've got a 2009 ybr125 EFI version that I have had from new. Had been reg. serviced and looked after for a 125. So a few months ago the odd time I would come out and go to do an electric start and the ignition light would dim. Turn…

They have actually offered to pay 80% parts cost , then i pay 100% of labour to do the work so in total BMW pay £3800 and i pay £1500 approx. Anyway the…

VW Group keyless security?
Currently there are offers on Seat cars, however they all seem to have the irritation of insecure keyless entry. The dealership says they have never heard of one being stolen by tricking the keyless system and claim there isn’t a theft problem with the Seat keyless cars. Checking the ADAC list of susceptible cars, all but…

Air Con service/refresh
Is it absolutely essential to have air conditioning serviced if it is working okay? Just wondered what peoples view is on this. Also, what is the actual difference between a service and a refresh? Is a refresh sufficient to kill off any bugs? The air con is OH's car hasn't been done since he bought it 4 years ago and may…

Mis Sold Car Warranty Plan?
Hi. About a year ago my girlfriend bought a Kia Sportage from a ‘car supermarket’. The whole thing was a bit of a nightmare which involved numerous trips and hours spent at the supermarket in question, not because of problems but just because they said that’s how long it takes. Considering it took me no more than an hour…

Car leasing company not sending on penalty notices

Checking history on a JDM import
Hi I'm considering buying a jdm that was imported in 2015, however when entering the reg for a standard HPI it's coming back as an entirely different model of car. I understand BIMTA deal with imports but it isn't really very clear just what their £84 check would cover other than ''verifying the odometer reading''
