Leasing a vehicle
A lot of people lease these days. Just wondering when you lease, who pays for the servicing, and new tyres, exhausts etc, and repair costs? You would think it would all be included in the lease agreement. But I suppose they are not that kind of lease?

Ford Motorcraft Service
I have a Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost that is just coming up to it's 4th service and I have contacted my local Ford dealer who suggested the Motorcraft Service as opposed to the Main Dealer service. (same dealer and Ford bits used on the service but substantially cheaper). I can't find any online reviews (which is strange :) )…

Hi to all reading this thread. I recently received a letter from my car insurance company informing me that my premium went up £430 due to changes in my insurance details. I phoned them and was told that I phoned my previous insurer back in 2015 informing them my car was scratched by another car while stationary. They now…

MOT Pass - Parking Brake Fail
Just had my 207 in for MOT and it has passed which I'm pleased about. :) Only thing I've noticed is on the brake test print out is that brake efficiency is PASS but parking brake says FAIL - Does they mean the brake test failed? Either way I've got an MOT pass certificate.

Best way to get illegal car shifted?
So there is a car parked awkwardly in my road (taking up two car's worth of spaces) which has no tax, MoT, or insurance. It's been there two weeks and is unlocked although being an automatic in (P)ark, it can't be moved easily. Tried jacks under wheels but still can't shift it; too much weight/friction on the jacks. Have…

Hi, I'm looking to buy a used car. I've seen a vauxhall corsa (05 plate) which looks great but noticed one of the mot advisories for the last couple of years had been ' front constant velocity joint gaiter damaged, but preventing the ingress of dirt'. I have absolutely no idea what one of those is, so was wondering if…
