Breakdown cover for 2 cars same household?

Wife is now back on the road and we both drive older cars

I am looking for recommendations on how best and cheapest way to get covered on both cars for Home Start and Recovery please?

Worth looking at personal cover so that you're both covered regardless of what car you're in.

My autoaid policy covers two cars at the same address, with the second car having a 50% discount on the premium.

Another vote for Autoaid. About £40 for insured and spouse, each driving any car.

Car repaired or recovered to home.

Have you thought of a (joint) Nationwide Flex Plus Bank Account. £10/month gives you excellent car cover+worldwide travel insurance + mobile phone insurance + more. I just cancelled my AA policy today for this. The breakdown/recovery is by LV/Britannia who came 2nd top in Which? magazines best buy survey.
