My mother has accepted liability but my mother's insurer's underwriter (Liverpool Victoria) is saying that I am liable and cited a section…

Leasing a car as a student teacher
Hi, I'm currently a student teacher thinking about leasing a car, with a question about applying for the finance for the lease to go through. When I was applying for a credit card a few months ago I got told not to because the bursary of 25 grand is not classed as a salary and so the credit would not be approved. Is this…

PCP Questions
Hi all, Does anyone know about car finance for individuals with a low income? I run my own LTD company, pay myself £155 per week and then dividends on top of that. Would I actually get car finance (for a new car) with such a "low" salary? Don't really want to go to BMW and ask and get rejected because of it.

Kwik fit or independent garage?
I'm having trouble with my cars ABS light staying on,done a lot of searching and it looks like it could be a abs reluctor ring that needs replacing (it's my first car so not 100%). Cyclist pulled in front of car
On the way to work this morning, I overtook a cyclist (with more than the recommended gap luckily) who then proceeded to pull straight out in front of me to cross to the kerb on the other side. Try as I might, I luckily only clipped the front of his bike and knocked him off. Spent 10 minutes with him checking he was OK,…

Are Mercedes service plans worth it ?
I have a Mercedes that is coming up for 3 years - all of the services to date were included in the cost of buying the car (from new) - so they will now be chargeable. I really like the recovery aspect of this as I have used them twice for burst tyres - this is included if I carry on having the car serviced by mb. They have…
