Parking eye county court date
Hi, I am new to posting and new to county court action so PLEASE be gentle with me. I put in a brief defense (info gathered from various…

Advice re damage by a overhanging branch
Hi Everyone The title sort of says it all but this morning myself and three other people had our cars hit by what can only be described as the mother of all branches. It was sticking out vertically from the tree and hit wingmirrors off four cars. A 75 year old lady was amongst us and she was really distressed so I have…

Car Deposit
I paid a deposit on a car that I found on AutoTrader. While I was discussing the repairs with the seller before I paid the full amount, I noticed that the seller had put the advert back on AutoTrader. Is this a criminal offence? Can I get my deposit back? The seller is not replying to my messages.

Cyclists and road traffic signals...
Have I missed an update to the Highway Code ? It seems that cyclists can ignore all road traffic signals and continue forward regardless - and then they wonder why they are at risk... !

Middle Lane Hoggers - I hate them!

Adding named driver question
Adding a friend of mine as a named driver on my car insurance reduces my quotes by £100. I am 27 and have 1 year NCB. Full EU driving licence. My friend owns his own car. What if he has an accident with that other car? Would that affect my own insurance? I've tried to find this on the forum search but no luck. Thanks!

Does buying & selling the odd car class me as a trader?
Just thinking out loud but as a side line for a little extra income I'm considering buying and selling cars. It would be just the odd one here and there for small profit, one at a time from home and on this basis wanted to ask if it's wise to register as a sole trader to do this and do the whole HMRC thing? Just thinking…
