synthetic 2 stroke Oil

Recently bought a 2002 Piaggio Hexagon 125 with 3000 Miles on the engine ( only ever used for holidays, hence so low) is there any benefit to using fully synthetic oil rather than regular premium branded stuff ( Castrol) ?

Unless you have a race tuned engine, and deep pockets, Castrol Act Evo 2 is supposed to be one of the best mineral based oils, and is about 1/3 the price of a fully synthetic.

(You can add it to your diesel @200:1 to reduce wear from the nasty biodiesel we get nowadays as well)
