Adding 3 additional drivers to my insurance, will this affect them?
Hi, I'm just comparing insurance quotes, and have found that adding my Father, my Brother and Boyfriend as additional drivers brings down my quote by £150 per annum. Does this affect them in any way IF I should claim?

seat belt warning light
Hi I wonder if anyone can help me. I have a Peugeot 207 and the seat belt warning light keeps going off in the back randomly when nobody is sitting in it. Is there anything that I can simply do to remedy this, apart from keeping the belt done up permanently? It keeps making me jump when it goes off whilst driving :) Thanks

Annual mileage likely to increase
I put x,000 miles down as my likely annual mileage on my insurance form. Now, less than 8 weeks into the deal, I've covered about 40% (yes, Scotland is faaaaaaaar away:p) . Usage type has not changed, i.e. the car is only used occasionally on weekends for longer trips. Now should I worry about me going over what I…

Insurance claim question
Hi, My car was hit from behind the other day causing damage to the bumper, wing and boot. The other driver completely at fault. I took it to a body repair shop today to get a quote and they estimate around £500 worth of repairs, around the value of the car. I'm going to be going through the other drivers insurance and was…

Cyclists not using hand signals
I've lost count the times I've followed some cyclists that refuse to give hand signals when turning. Why the heck do you not follow the highway code and let me know where you intend to go?? NB: I'm a cyclist too so I know what I'm talking about here. It seems to be the lycra brigade who are the worst offenders.

I have called out the AA twice in the last two years, once at home when I couldn't get the car started and another when the engine fan broke. Both times however I didn't get an AA van, just some local…

Hi- i'm new to this area of the forum so please be kind! My car wouldn't start recently so I had the RAC out to look at it and they said it was a problem with the key and I should call an autolocksmith. I called around and everyone I called said it would be the ECU and would cost a fortune. Then I finally found someone who…

Peugeot 206 Xsi 1.6l
I am being offered a 2003 reg, petrol vehicle which I have yet to view - don't know many details including mileage as yet. My query is regarding general fuel efficiency for this model and am wondering whether anyone can speak with experience. It seems to me that this would probably not be an ideal vehicle for me if better…

My licence - stick with paper or go for photo id?
Today I hit 60, yet I still have my paper licence - we are both is reasonable nick. I'd decided that I would finally cough up the £20 and swap to a Photo-Id licence - reasoning that I would then only have to pay the one £20 fee before my paper licence ran out at 70. Having a photo-Id might be useful? One bank a few weeks…

Anyone used The Hitman
I scraped the coloured (plastic) rear bumper of my Scenic on a concrete post and now have a vertical scratch mark. I've seen adverts in my local paper for The Hitman (concession??) who claim to be able to hide the damage. Has anyone used them? With what results and how much do they charge? Many thanks.

Any comments youtube clip
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSIGthO2vPs It doesn't look right, but there's comments saying the rear wheels turn and are meant to do this? I wouldn't want a car that does that.

Car interior/fabric cleaning materials
Just wondered if anyone has any suggestions for an effective dry foam interior cleaning spray, for use on cloth seats and carpets. Preferably one with built in deodorisers which help give that nice, new car smell.
