Wiper Blades screech on windscreen
Replaced wiper blades with bosh replacedments, so not the cheap ones, but after 3 months they screech across windscreen unless their is alot of rain on windscreen. Why?
I have heard that soaking vinegar in rubber helps.
Has anyone tried this, or any other suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

kitchen roll and vinegar and wipe the blades several timesHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

If you use wash and wax shampoo the stuff gets embedded in the blades and all the tiny pits and scratches in the screen.
Once you've got the things cleaned properly (second post ideal) keep a solution of non waxy cleaner and a separate sponge for screen use only and always wash the screen and wipers with that, never the wash and wax.
Another trick is to 'park' the wipers the opposite lean to their normal side whenever the thought crosses your mind, your blades will last indefinately longer too.
edit...if your screen is old and badly pitted you might find the embedded wax still comes out when it rains, i've had to change uncracked screen before due to this very thing, the difference after was like night and day.0 -
Ditto.
It's not the wiper blades at fault, it's the wax in your car shampoo."Retail is for suckers"

Use Autoglym Fast Glass followed by Autoglym Glass Polish. After polishing the windscreen wipe the rubber on the wipers with polish.
Alternatively try Rain X, if correctly applied you will hardly ever use the wipers.0
