This has been ongoing since December of last year, when I used my Visa Debit card, I was told that the card was declined, which I was shocked at as there is always money in the account. Cycling to work..
I have decided to invest in a bike and start cycling to work. I spend around a tenner a week on parking and fuel for work so in the long run it will save me money and help my waistline :) I basically want some advice on what to buy? It has been over 10 years since I last owned a bike as a kid. I've seen this bike on the…

Strict liability, law change to protect vulnerable road users?
If a motor vehicle hits a pedestrian, cyclist or equestrian, the non-motorised road user is unfortunately far more likely to be injured. As a result you might expect that drivers have a greater duty of care for non-motorised users’ safety. However unlike most other European countries, this is not currently recognised under…

Is it possible to get short term breakdown cover for a low cost, in a similar fashion to short term insurance? I'm going on a long-ish journey to Scotland from the Midlands one day, then driving back the following day. The trip is about 1k miles all round. I don't generally bother with breakdown cover, but being as I'm…

'fuel economy calculator' iphone app
I replied to another thread today where someone was asking about money savings apps, thought it deserved its own thread in view of the high petrol prices.
