1st Class Trucking
Has anyone had any dealings with a company called 1st Class Trucking, in Enfield? I booked 12 hours worth of lessons and a B+E Trailer Towing Test with them and received terrible service. The lessons are held in Macro's car park with vehicles that are not fit for the road and they have terrible customer services. I have…

Argh! I've booked a train for the wrong day!
I'm going away this weekend with a friend. Checked with her the dates before I booked the train, and went ahead. I got the tickets through, fab! Just text her to arrange stuff, and we're not going until the day later. I've got a ticket for the Friday, when I need to travel on the Saturday. Can I do anything to swap it, or…

New owner not available to sign registration docs
We've just sold a car on eBay and the purchaser wants to send a friend to pick it up. Consequently he won't be able to sign the new owner document - and wants the friend to 'sign' in his stead. Is this possibly a scam of some kind? Is it legal to have someone other than the new owner to sign this form? He will be filling…

Have the garage played fair?
A few days ago my wife's car was booked into a local garage for some work, having been recommended by several posters on a motoring forum as specialists in this particular model. I asked them to MOT the car and carry out a major service to include changing cambelts and water pump. The total cost was to be around £600. A…

Parking sensors tip
I have just bought a car (07 reg) and asked about parking sensors. The dealer said that he would put them in for free as part of the deal. You have to pay about £100 for a kit plus fitting cost so I was glad I asked. Worth trying if you're buying.

Car colour - does it matter?
I'm looking at buying a new Honda Civic. The colour I liked (Cerulean blue) they have stopped doing and all they can currently offer are black, silver or solid red. A dealer has found one blue car but it is £650 more than I can get on-line (btw any experiences with drive the deal?) I was told by one dealer that as the…

Used car purchase & 61 plate
Hi all, I am ready to purchase a used car, an Audi A4 2 years old (08 plate). However I'm unsure whether to go ahead and buy now or wait until after next week when the new registration comes out (61 plate I think). Obviously older cars will depreciate more with each new registration but by how much ? and how long does this…

Looking for some advice from you fabulous people. I will try and keep it short. I bought a car at auction about a month ago. Car insurance help please! :(
Hi everyone, I have a few questions regarding car insurance. As an 18 year old, car insurance is VERY expensive and I'm pretty much restricted to 1L and 1.1L cars (£1,000 2.3L Audi would cost £10k per annum). I've decided on a 2000/2001 VW Polo 1.0L but I'm still struggling to get my quotes under £4,000. My questions...…
