Argh! I've booked a train for the wrong day!

I'm going away this weekend with a friend. Checked with her the dates before I booked the train, and went ahead. I got the tickets through, fab! Just text her to arrange stuff, and we're not going until the day later. I've got a ticket for the Friday, when I need to travel on the Saturday. Can I do anything to swap it, or do I just have to pay again?

ooh, I'm just looking, it says off-peak on my ticket, and on thetrainline.com it's saying I can travel on any off peak train. Is that for any day? I could cancel it and rebook for a £10 admin fee, or just risk it with the original ticket on the next day and hope I'm in the off-peak rules?0

If it's an off peak single or the outward leg of a return you need to travel on the ticket's date. If it's the return leg of a return you have a month.0

Contact the trainline and let them know the error, they are known to be more lenient in regard to admin fee if you are buying the correct ticket from them too.0
