Mouldy roof lining
I have an LDV van which I only use occassionally. Due to water getting-in to the cab when it rains (which I've now fixed), the cloth roof lining has a spotty mould problem. I took it for an mot and the tester refused to test it until the mould was removed. My question is - what is the best way to do this?

Unfair Wear and Tear Recharges at end of Vehicle Lease.
I have had a Vauxhall Zafira on a 2 yr lease from lombard. I received a month before the end of the lease a guide on fair wear and tear. I looked over the vehicle and accept that a scratch on the roof is to be repaired, but surface scratches on the doors were well within remit of their fair W&T policy (scuffs from other…

Buying a new Ford - Drive the Deal
Thinking of buying a new ford. Anyone had any experiences with Drive the Deal. They seem to have some good offers. Usually buy from main dealer but their prices seem a bit of a rip off!

Buyer Beware
Privately bought a car. It transpires that there is now the need for a new headgasket. Now the guy mentioned that the little problem it had needing toped up with coolant was because it had been sitting. He never had that problem before. it transpires he had knowledge of the problem so he lied. DO I have comeback or not?

My car smells...
Hi I have a 106, which unfortunately at some point last week has allowed water in - how I'm not really sure. The drivers footwell was flooded (all others areas seemed fine) with a few centimetres of water. It has mostly dried out now, however the car stinks. Any tips on how to get rid of this smell? Could I just clean the…

Accident Damage Repair
The day before yesterday, a lady reversed out of her drive and into the corner of my car whilst she waved to her children. Did a little bit of damage, got her details and there's no real way she can deny fault, so claiming won't be an issue. The damage means the car requires a new bumper, indicator mounting, wing panel…

New Family Car!
We're needing new, but used family car. It needs to be safe and relatively cheap on tax, insurance and fuel. The husband doesn't want something slow, although that doesn't bother me so much. Any ideas what we should be looking at? We've probably got about £2-3000 to spend. Thanks in advance! :)
