Hi, off to London for a weekend in July got a cheap premier inn at Earls court so now sorting out all the travel.
On the Sunday myself and the family (2Adults & 2childern(6+13)) are off to Chessington world of adventures and plan to go Earls Court to Wimbledon (Underground) and then Wimbledon to Chessington South (SW trains), my question is would an Off-Peak 1 Day Travelcard Zone 1-6 cover this journey?
I Know a Oyster card would cover it, but is a right pain getting photo cards for the children.

Save yourself a couple of quid and get a Z2-6 travelcard if you're not going into Z1.Did you really mean to put loose?

Earls court would appear to be in zone1 but you could walk a short distance (into zone2) as its right on the boundary0 -

kaisersoze cheers for that link, will use it to get 4x adult tickets (£68) as crazy as it sound its cheaper than booking online direct 3 adults 1 child (£89) or if I tried to smuggle the 13yr old as an 11yr old and got the family ticket thats £78Whoa! I don't know how much time you are going to have but if you buy you're tickets from a proper train station (overground not underground) you can use these vouchers on 2for1.

Earl's Court is a Zone 1/2 boundary station. This means that either a Zone 1 or a Zone 2 ticket is valid.kaisersoze wrote: »Earls court would appear to be in zone1 but you could walk a short distance (into zone2) as its right on the boundaryDid you really mean to put loose?
