Re-Claim Mortgage Early Redemption Charges
I moved house prior to the end of my fixed rate. The Halifax said that I couldn't take the fixed rate with me - so I had to re-mortgage and pay 2% of the outstanding balance in penalties for redeeming early. Is this fair - and would this type of charging fall within the scope of unfair ?:confused:
