My son and his girlfriend want to buy house, they are first time buyers. They want us to sign as guarantors for their mortgage, As they dont have enough income on paper . Not sure if it will affect us. Anyone any experience of this type of mortgage???:confused:

cost of transfer of equity
ive been quoted a couple of prices for the transfer of equity on a property im attatched too. my part of it (removing my name) ive been quoted a couple of hundred and for my ex partner ive had £2, 3800 and £670. does that seem right? in both quotes theyve included stamp duty, is that right just to remove a name?
