Am I a first time buyer???

We had a mortgage, sold up and moved to Spain.......big mistake. Now we are back and looking to buy again. Have been told we are not first time buyers, but 2nd time buyers.......is this right?

Just looking around for offers at the mo' but I contacted Nationwide and the lady practically laughed at me when I asked if I was classed as a first time buyer again? I had not seen anything that mentioned anything other than first time buyers, remortgaging or moving house, so only asked the question!
Guess I'm a bit less 'green' second time around and my money will have to work for me a bit harder!!!0 -
