I got miss sold an endowment in 1985 and after a lot of trying to get compensation i had given up.Another company has offered to fight my case but wants £350 up front as a deposit and 16% of what i stand to gain which is around £6000 can anyone help as i don't know wether its a good thing or not Regards Chris

Buying property abroad mortgage dilemma
We are intending to buy an apartment in Austria. My question is this, we have sufficient equity in our home to increase our mortgage and then pay cash for the Austrian property. Would this be better than getting a mortgage on the property itself, bearing in mind that it will be rented out for some of the time?
