Axa Endowment - to keep or not??
Hello, I have an endowment with Axa Sun Life, no longer attached to a mortgage which I don't know what to so with. I'm paying in £25 per month, which would be handy in my pocket since I'm on a lowish income, but would it be worth keeping as savings? I think I'd be looking at trading it if I didn't keep it, in which case…

In 1989 we bought the council house we live in. Our then independant insurance advisor set everything up for us, he even found the solicitor and sorted out the endowment mortgage saying that it would pay off the mortgage and hopfully would give us a small lump sum on top of it. Are we being conned?
We have spoken to an F.A who has suggested a way of repaying our mortgage that we have never heard of.
