O2 are we mugs?
On the O2 site the xperia z on contract is £549 plus £11pm for 24 months for 50 mins, unlimited texts and 100mb data, yet the handset on payg is £499 and a payg sim for £10 gets 75mins 500 texts and 100mb data and the allowance doubles every 3 months, why would anyone want the contract option?

Nokia Lumia 920 - SIM Error
I won a Nokia Lumia 920 in a competition at the beginning of January but have only just decided to start using it. However, I don't know what network it is locked to. I tried scanning the barcode and it came up as 'unlocked' so I tried my Virgin sim and it didn't work. Then I tried my husband's T-mobile and that also…

O2 - phone faulty after 2 months
Can somebody confirm my rights for me please? I bought a lumia 800 from them on 28th December, ie, just over 2 months ago. It just crashed on me and won't start up again. They are telling me I can't have a new one and it has to be sent back. Is this true? Surely if it fails within 2 months, that is sales of goods act…

The Asus PadFone Infinity is the first non-Apple device to take a nano-SIM. Hopefully this should increase availability and support of nano-SIMs by the mobile networks.

Google Gesture Search - Nice Android App
On Google play Here It's a good app to have as a shortcut on your homescreen , open it , draw a letter on screen with your finger and it will open a list of contacts , apps , recent webpages etc beginning with that letter which you just tap to go to. Save a lot of time scrolling through screens if you have lots of contacts…

T-Mobile SMS Scam and 700036004?

According to my account I last sent a text to 700036004 on 1.3.13, although I've not sent such a text and the number does not…

Jelly Bean/ICS or humble pie?
Ok, so I have just switched to an Xperia Z from an Xperia Ray, I have seen a lot of posts about phone data usage, and it always puzzled me as a few tweaks of the set up and my previous Satio and Ray, were very conservative on data usage. Ok I have been downloading my apps to the new device and generally having a mess…

Do I own my phone number?
I have a phone contract with o2 which has a few months left to run. When I moved to the contract I brought my phone number (which had been PAYG - let's call it number 1) with me. Best Midrange Android SmartPhone £100-£250
I'm in the market for a new Android phone but there seems to be a huge gulf between the top end £500+ phones and the cheapies at £100 or less. Also there seems to be less value and consistency as you approach £200 with some very underwhelming devices for sale which don't warrant paying double the price of a basic £100…
