4GEE - what a bunch of amateurs!
I wanted to get a 4GEE prepaid nano-SIM card to try out 4G, but they don't supply them yet. I was reluctant to upgrade to 4G with a 12-month commitment without testing whether it was any good. Therefore EE's sales department advised me to order a 12-month SIM-only contract and then cancel it within 14 days under their…

PAC code expiry time, Bank Holidays and weekends
Hi Guys. I recently got a pac code which expires on the 3rd April. I've just realised that it's a bank holiday the previous Friday and Monday. Am I right in thinking I can't port for 4 days across Easter weekend and will have to do it on the 2nd ? What time on the expiry date (3rd) does the PAC code expire ? Is it…

Declined by T-Mobile
Hi guys, I took out a contract with T-Mobile (via 3rd party) about 3-4 weeks ago but cancelled 1 day into the cooling off period as I changed my mind about the handset. I've tried to take another contract with them today (by another 3rd party) and T-Mobile have declined me due to my credit score. Would the fact they did a…

Samsung Galaxy Y for £5 per month: Is that the cheapest smartphone contract in the UK
You can get the Samsung Galaxy Y smartphone for as little as £5 per month on a two year contract. That’s a total cost of ownership of £120. Not bad for a phone that still costs a rather substantial £74.99 at Prepaymania (and £90 at Argos). Note that you need to be a Talktalk user in order to benefit from this package, one…

Google Nexus 4 Query
Hi All, I've got the above phone and I'm very happy with it, however when receiving texts and missed calls the message appears in a small caption along the top of the screen. Is it possible to get such messages fully displayed across the screen? Thanks in advance

Vodafone SIM only contract...
Hiya, My contract is up soon, and as I am currently happy with my iPhone 4, I was looking at getting a SIM only deal (I'm on Vodafone so was looking at Vodafone obv!) On the website, all the plans show a limit for their wifi access (750mb being the highest) My question is, does this include wifi in the home? Or is this…

Help! More T-mobile early termination woes
Hi guys, I've read various threads on T-mobile early termination penalties but I've received a new take on it from T-mobile themselves. My minimum term expires on 23/3 but as I was going to be unavailable on 21/2, 30 days prior to the end date, I called T-mobile on 20/2 & asked if I could give 31 days notice to avoid an…

Virgin Mobile PAYG - cheaper abroad?!
I am on a direct debit PAYG tariff with Virgin Mobile as I rarely use my phone so that's the cheapest thing for me. When I was recently abroad I sent a few texts, and looking at the bill they cost 8p, where as texts in the UK cost 15p. This seems a bit mad, but Virgin's explanation is that "call charges in the EU fall…

Did Vodafone Mis-Sell me an insurance policy?
I was wondering if I could seek your opinion on this: A few months ago I had a problem with my phone falling down a toilet which, understandably, caused it to malfunction. I took it to my nearest Vodafone shop, they sent it off, and a week or so later it came back "not economically viable" for repair as, at the time I was…

Does "My Vodafone" work for you ?
It used to work a few months back. It hasn't worked for a couple of weeks now. I have an active PAYG SIM. I know what my log in name is, I know what the password is. It won't log me in, if I try the "forgotten password". I exchanged a few frustrating and pointless e-mails with someone who answers the Vodafone Customer…

Phone Warranty
Hello All, first post so bear with me :) I got a phone on contract from t-mobile 17 months ago. It broke 7 months into the contract, and they said it couldn't be fixed. They replaced it with a NEW phone, NOT a reconditioned one. I asked if it had any warranty, and they said yes, 12 months. It has broken again, after 10…

EE 4G - Delayed texts
Not been a good start to life as a 4g user, not sure whether this is due to EE or not though. i had several issues from day 1 but one persistent (if not intermittent) issue that is annoying me is delayed arrival of SMS, often i receive a text up to 3 hrs after it was sent. i have complained and been told there is nothing i…

Vodafone Company Representative
Dear Lee, I signed up 2 new contracts for my children on different accounts. Vodafone website shows £10.50 (inc.vat) But how come vodafone is charging me £12.30? It does not make sense if the web is showing £10.50 we should be charged at £10.50 and not £10.50 (inc.vat) plus vat again? Can you have a look at my account…
