Save council tax money by fining motorists who park on pavements
Councils should be allowed to fine motorists a fixed penalty to drivers who park on pavements and verges. Money from these fines should be retained by councils to fund pavement or other repairs so that the council tax payer does not have to pay for damage caused by irresponsible motorists.
