Whats a non-impediment?
Hi Wedding abroad, I have received a letter from the company saying that non impediments are required. I phoned the local registry office and the girl that answered the phone has never heard of a non impediment. She kept mentioning a "notice of marriage". Does anybody know if this is the same thing? Thanks

Health Checks at School
Is it normal for these to be done at school without informing the parent? My 5yr old is in reception and she recently came home from school saying that they had a nurse in the school who measured them, weighed them and did hearing and eye checks. All good, but I was never informed and nor have I been told of any results.…

Can someone help me understand the budget?
Hi everyone, I'm having some trouble understanding how the personal tax allowance increase is worked out. I've used two calculators and they've both said my OH and I will be better off by £272 so £136 each. I feel really stupid asking, but can someone tell me how they got that figure? Thank you!

Syria atrocities on YouTube
I just wanted to share thought and wondered what people’s feelings were about the countless videos on YouTube showing what accounts to murder. YouTube is great. Most nights I search stuff, usually items what have been in the news that day, and click on linked videos. I usually end up looking at motorcycles, funny clips,…

A dinner lady has pulled out my child's tooth, am I overreacting?
I am absolutely fuming right now! And my instinct is to go into school and have words, but I just want to check that I'm not being a drama queen about it! Basically the story goes like this...... Online Divorce without spouse approval?
Hi guys. Newly registered long time lurker around here I was after a little bit of advice if possible. I regrettably got married over 6 years ago and things went bad fast and my wife cheated within 6 months of being married so I left. She was far from amicable to the point of psychotic and divorce was just too unaffordable…
