Natwest - Settlement Figure
Hi, a question for the natwest people out there. Is it true that the lending dept can't give out a settlement figure for a loan on a Saturday and that I have to wait until the Monday? It's no big deal, just a bit annoying.

Can I get a bigger loan and use some to pay it off early?
I need 5k for a new car but the rates are higher than for 7.5k loans. The repayment for 3 yrs on a 5k loan are the same as 5 yrs on a 7.5k loan. So, if I could get a 7.5k loan for 5 yrs, put 2.5k into a locked ISA for 3 yrs, then use it to pay of the loan in 3 yrs time? Is it do-able? Thanks

Can you owe someone money without agreeing or realising you borrowed?
let say, I'm doing driving lessons, I pay the instructor in advance all the time but cannot prove it. Then one day I pay him in advance for lessons in the future, then he cancels the next two lessons when my test is due soon. So i decided to ask for my money back, then the instructor says "yeah but remember you did some…
