Door Step loans?

I last had a loan with a 'door step' company about 3 yrs ago, the payments were always made on time and the account was actually settled a few wks before it should of been!

I recently went on my credit file to find out my score has dropped by a lot of points and it says i have an outstanding account not been paid and is classed as deliquent!!!

I called the credit file company to find out the lender had put on my account i had missed 8 mths worth of payments and when i spoke to them they said my account was settled and paid on time, where do i go from here? Thanks

Have you got confirmation that the loan was paid off?
If so get the CRA to change its record.


........Before you ask no there is no case for any compo here. LOL

I am not seeking any compo just want my credit file putting right as this has only appeared on there within the last week, so cant understand why now after the account was paid off nearly 3 yrs ago. The credit file company have asked me to send all of my details to them and they will look into it!

raise a dispute with all the cra's that the incorrect info is on.
