Wentworth direct theft!!!!
I looked into having a loan and within 2 seconds of looking got a phone call from this company who didnt even tell me their name! i was then presurized into going through with the loan. they told me there was no charge. then i saw that there was a £69.95 admin fee on the e-mail. i phoned the next day and told them i did not want the loan and was told to send this in writing. which was sent 3 WEEKS AGO. today i got paid and they have taken money. when i phoned them the guy slammed phone down on me and now my calls go unanswered. please help where do i stand

You won't get the loan. This is a broker charging you to pass your details to loan companies to phone and further harass you.
You can write to them and ask for your money back but they will keep a fiver i believe.0 -
How about no longer being masochistic?
How about remembering your divinity?
How about unabashedly bawling your eyes out?
How about not equating death with stopping?0 -
i'd already written to them next day saying i did not want loan and not to take money now they wont talk0

Horse, stable door, etc..., but why did you give your bank or card details out to people who you don't know and have never heard of?0

So this stranger with no name managed to get you to give complete access straight into your bank account?got a phone call from this company who didnt even tell me their name! i was then presurized into going through with the loan.
He could have completely cleaned you out, was it really that difficult to move your arm away from your ear and put the phone back?
PM me your phone number, I fancy a few beers.
Send them a formal complaint cancelling (it's all in the T&C's)0 -
How exactly did they 'pressurize' you over the phone into taking the loan?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0

I also got stung by Wentworth recently. I didn't sign the agreement but they still took £69 from my account. I rang and complained and I was told that I had set up a defferred payment date! Like I would!!!!! More startling .....I didn't have the money in my account, but my bank allowed the payment to go ahead, taking me overdrawn!!! I'm going to wait the 6 months required (as I know I wont get a loan) and demand a refund! Scandalous!:mad:0 -
