I took out a secured loan with paragon for 50k in 2007, and i pay 400 a month for this, we have worked out that in 7 years we have paid them 31k but this has only wiped 5k off the loan, we where not made aware of the interest amount we pay each month, and it has now come to light that once the loan ends we are going to have a short fall, and that we were never advised about taking an endowment policy out, is there anything that anyone can advise about claiming that the policy was mis-sold. thanks

You'd need to get out your original signed agreements and paperwork and see what they say. I'd be very surprised if they didn't tell you what the APR was on them, and explain if it was variable (which is likely on a secured loan).

Are you genuinely on here claiming you have been repaying a loan (which you did take and spend) for all this time but claim never to have had any clue as to what it was all about??

Not sure if I am too surprised, 5 years has elapsed since 2007 when you took this loan but you have been repaying for 7 years, how does that work??
