Eek, leaking shower
A couple of days ago I noticed my shower was dripping steadily even though it was fully turned off - its an ordinary electric shower (not power shower), separate cubicle and I don't know how old the unit is, although I've been in the house since 2004. Peculiarly, taking the hose and rosette out of the holder and letting…

Home improvements - WWYD?
We have decided not to carry out any major work on our cellar, thanks in part to the advice from all you lovely MSErs :T We had our quotes from a couple of companies and decided it is not worth doing anything major. All thought it would be in excess of £10K to do the waterproofing-type work alone:eek: and since we just…

Has anyone used the above product instead of 'normal' grout? It looks so much cleaner and the finishing tool that comes with it looks handy, just wondered if there are any useful reports out there? t.i.a.

Washing machine parts ?
I have a modern washing machine, (hotpoint ultima WT746) but you know the 5 bits inside the washer itself (drum paddle I think)? That helps spin the clothes? Well one has come off. I need to find another one, before any more damage is done. Do you know of a website that sells washing machine parts? At competitive prices?
