Painting a room, what order?

Ive the ceiling, wall radiator and skirting board to do, is that the best order to do it in then i only need to be careful at skirting board level not to get on walls.

Is there any prep work to walls required

Ceiling, walls, woodwork for finishing. You can do the prep in any order.

Could be if the walls are bad and you need to strip the wallpaper off.

Painted Walls should be washed down with sugar soap to remove accumulated dirt and grime.
